  Section shows epithelial ulceration with underlying moderate to markedly inflammatory cells infiltration predominantly lymphoplasma cells with some of them forming germinal centre. Scattered neutrophils seen.

  The exhibit displays large caseous cavity over lung parenchyma

• HISTOPATHOLOGY DESCRIPTION

  Pulmonary tuberculosis show the multiple granuloma. Granuloma is composed of aggregates of epithelioid macrophages. Multinucleated giant cell often sseen. In tuberculosis, the granuloma has a central necrosis.
