The exhibit displays enlarged, asymmetrical and distorted thyroid gland. There is diffuse heterogenous nodularity, with some nodule appear dominant and partly surrounded by fibrous septae and appear partly encapsulated.

The thyroid shows mutiple nodule separated by incomplete septae. The nodules are composed of varying size of thyroid follicles. They are lined by flat to cuboidal epithelium. Colloid is noted within the follicles.
