The exhibit displays bladder harbouring carcinoma impinging both ureteral orifices causing the obstruction. The carcinoma grossly appear as a fungating growth over the trigone. Right kidney is enlarged as compared to the left kidney. Both ureters are dilated

Infiltrating urothelial carcinoma of the bladder shows wide range of architectural patterns. This includes nest, sheet, trabeculae, cords, and single cells. Commonly there is mixture of pattern. The tumor cells are often high grade exhibit marked nuclear pleomorpism with hyperchromatic nuclei.
