The exhibit displays large solid, soft and friable, greyish white intramedullary tumour located mainly at diaphyseal-metaphyseal portion of long bone. The tumour involved the cortex and extend into surrounding soft tissue. Areas of necrosis can be observed. Areas of hemorrhage commonly present.

Classical ewing sarcoma shows uniform small round cells with stippled chromatin pattern and inconpicuous nucleoli in scanty cytoplasm. Hormer-Wright rosette can be observed.
