The lesion is soft and friable, with a slightly brownish or red-tan appearance, situated in the proximal tibia, involving the epiphysis and metaphysis. There is cortical thinning in the upper portion, while the distal part exhibits cortical destruction. The lesion extends to the articular cartilage, with focal areas of haemorrhage observed.
